Pubs.

I like pubs. Pubs are nice. Pubs are warm and comforting. Pubs will play drinking music, like Irish folk, soothing Blues, mellow Jazz or something like that. It might even get kicked up a few notches with som good old rock. Pubs, thank the Gods, will NOT play shitty excuses for "R'n'B" or crotch grinding house faggotry.

I you want to dress like a skank or a douchy bro and act like a dumbfuck shit-for-brains, you can piss off to a club or a bar or whatever the fuck.

Pubs are also a place where you can wallow in self pity before mustering the guts to face the outside world:

Alas, proper pubs are difficult to come by in Oslo. Makes me wish that I was born british or a dane. Danes have good pubs. And you can smoke inside in pubs in Denmark.
